Continuous and prime power generators (generators sets or commonly known as gensets) are very similar as they function as the main source of power and are designed to operate continuously or for extended periods of time. The major difference between the two is that continuous generator sets are designed to operate continually with a consistent load while prime generators are designed to operate for long duration at variable loads.
Standby generators basically run only when there is an outage to the utility grid in a backup / temporary situation as a secondary source of power.
Depending on the model, they may start automatically when the power goes out and stop when the power returns. The number of circuits to which a standby generator can provide power–and the number of appliances you can run on those circuits – is determined by the power capacity of the generator.

Installed power is determined by our technical experts with the relevant measuring devices, considering installed equipment in the facility. Total power calculations are based on measurements of loads with higher inrush currents, UPS loads, active and reactive loads. Preparing the ground for installation is of great importance for proper and longtime operation. The ground where the generator will be placed and operated must be flat. It should be a concrete floor at an adequate height in accordance with environmental conditions.
Installation & start-up
Installation of your generator by authorized and expert staff is very important in terms of smooth and long-lasting operation. Especially, in places where the relocation of existing generators or placement of new generators cannot be performed with cranes and forklifts, our expert teams can assist you with on-site disassembly and assembly operations. It is very important that the initial start-up of your generator is performed by authorized services. Within the initial start-up stage, all assemblies of your generator set are checked and functional tests are applied. Providing the initial start-up by unauthorized services will cause your generator to be out of warranty.
