The world has changed dramatically in the course of Nehmeh’s lifetime. But the principles on which it was founded have remained constant for over seventy years. It is these exact principles that have enabled Nehmeh’s entrepreneurial spirit to evolve and grow into a regional group that is openly embracing the future.

Antoine Nehme
Founding Father
(1930-2010)
Nehmeh’s roots follows the storied professional career of its founder Antoine Nehme.
Antoine’s early life was a challenge and in a life of poverty and suffering, Antoine always pursued his goal for betterment to achieve his full potential and to take care of his extended family.
Having left his home in Lebanon in 1953, Antoine moved to Qatar for work and opportunity.
Eager to grow together with a nation in development, Antoine setup a small domestic trading establishment a few years later under the localized name of “Anton Nehmeh”, to represent and build international brands in the local market.
Embodied with the true meaning of the words “pioneer” and “independence”, Antoine began selling various spare parts for automobiles and light machinery.
As Doha turned into a thriving metropolis, Antoine kept an admirable pace, striving to meet the ever increasing demands of a country in the path of rapid growth.
A philanthropist by nature, Antoine was continuously involved in funding several community and social centers in Qatar and abroad – Nehmeh continues to uphold this tradition with several outreach programs through its community service initiatives.
Antoine Nehme’s recognized legacy and his founding vision live on as part of our core values and within The Nehmeh Way.

Arrival of our Founder, Antoine Nehme, to the Gulf from his homeland for work and opportunity in a contracting company.
The roots of Nehmeh is its founding establishment under the localized name of its founder "Anton Nehmeh" which has its beginnings in 1955 in the street later called Musheireb in the heart of the town of Doha.
In a country in rapid development, the need for motorized vehicles in terms of cars, trucks and motorcycles reaches record demands. This naturally requires their maintenance and as such we are recognized as one of the first importer of aftermarket vehicle equipment & components including batteries, sparkplugs, tyres, horns, paints...
As part of its growth, NATCO (Nehmeh Automotive & Trading Company) was established to cater to the needs of the ballooning automotive industry from vehicle importers to collision repair shops. The trading arm further strengthened its retail operations to the larger markets.
"Industrial Area" branch established in the outskirts of the capital city of Doha catering to all the needs of the industrial sector which includes automotive repair centers and factories as well as plants of construction companies.
National Radiator Factory (NRF) is established as Qatar's first & only heat exchanger manufacturing facility, producing radiators for cars, motorcycles and other industrial applications. First satisfying local needs, exports soon followed to neighboring countries.
